ÖH ELECTIONS 2025
your top 3 for the federal representation of the austrian national union of students (öh)
let's be honest - our federal program
Let’s be honest: Crowded lecture halls, strict attendance rules, and lack of practical experience – your studies clearly need improvement. But the national student union (ÖH) gets lost in ideological debates instead of focusing on you and your needs. We will change that! You are our priority.
We demand a leaner student union with fewer staff, an end to left-wing propaganda, and more money for real student projects. An ÖH that focuses on its core task: students – with no forced membership.
Quality education costs. Better support, faster exam results, modern teaching. That means studying now at a high standard and contributing later when you’re financially secure.
Studying and working should be easier. We demand flexible study models and hybrid learning. Plus, for entrepreneurs: startup centers and a special startup semester.
You work just as hard as university students – but you still face disadvantages: less flexibility, fewer opportunities for semesters abroad, and almost no chance for a PhD program.
We will change that!
Because you are not half a student!
Your vote counts - How to vote
From 13 – 15 May, you have the chance to vote for your representatives in the ÖH elections – at three levels: Student Representation, University Representation and Federal Representation. To be eligible to vote, however, you need to follow a few important steps:
step 1
Pay the ÖH fee by March 25! If you pay it afterward, you will not be eligible to vote.
step 2
Are you unsure whether you will be at the university from 13-15 May? Then get your polling card from 3 April to 6 May. You can find all the information about ordering a polling card here.
ATTENTION: With an election card you can only vote for the federal and university representation, but not for your student representation. And don’t forget to send off your polling card in good time!
step 3
Vote for JUNOS Studierende from 13 to 15 May, because let’s be honest, only with us will your interests actually be represented! Cast your vote at your local polling station.
